View (from property/room) in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

The room is very comfortable. Even though we were on the 1st floor and with a window to the street, we could not hear any noises from outside or from the bedrooms beside us. The bed and the pillow were the super comfortable and the room had blackout blinds, so we slept amazingly comfortable. The hotel is modern, and the facilities are great. It’s in a quiet location, only a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. There were not many restaurants in the area, but you can find many options only a short walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

A Perfect Stay – Thanks to Francisca! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless - clean, comfortable rooms, beautiful surroundings, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. But what truly made the experience exceptional was Francisca. She is an absolute gem! Francisca went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care stood out every single day. Whether it was helping with local recommendations, attending to special requests, or simply greeting me with a smile, she made me feel valued and at home. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and thoughtful. Francisca truly made my stay unforgettable, and the hotel is lucky to have her as part of their team. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and will be recommending this place to friends and family - thanks in large part to her! Thank you again, Francisca, for being so wonderful!

Restaurant/places to eat in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

The hotel is situated in a great location, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The decor of the hotel matched the photos perfectly, and I was particularly impressed by the beautiful green patio with a pond. Breakfasts were decent, offering a good start to the day. The only downside was the lack of good coffee, but fortunately, there are two excellent cafes right across the street. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and comfortable place to stay.

Facade/entrance in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

We booked to stay at The Editory Garden Hotel, Porto but actually stayed in The Editory Artist Hotel, next door. I will leave a separate review for that hotel. We arrived to check in and were advised we'd be upgraded to a bigger room at the adjoining Editory Artist due to an issue with our room at Editory Garden. The hotels share the gorgeous courtyard Garden so we didn't feel we'd be missing out and were happy to have the room issue resolved before we even checked in. The staff were so kind and welcoming and made sure we knew the facilities of both hotels were available to us.

Lounge or bar in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

The Editory Garden Hotel is a very good choice to stay in Porto and discover the city easily. It is not far from the airport and close to subway stations. All major points of interest can be reached easily with the public transports or walking in the streets. The hotel itself is well-designed, very clean and pleasant with its inner garden located in the courtyard, the comfy and quiet rooms offering good space and equipment.

Lobby or reception in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

This hotel was a thirty minute walk from the train station in Porto, as well as thirty minutes from the sights I was most excited to see while there. The breakfast offered in the morning was diverse and delicious, a perfect way to start off my day adventuring around the city. The room I was in was perfect for a solo traveler like me and the AC worked really well and was easy to collaborate, which is something I've found is hit and miss in hotels.

Facade/entrance in The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

This is a stylish, newly opened hotel. The design of the hotel, looking out on to the most beautiful Mediterranean garden, is stunning. Our room was huge and beautiful. The air conditioning worked super effectively. The bathroom was ultra luxurious…huge, chic and with a beautiful rainfall shower tiled in sunburst colours. This new hotel is linked, via the garden, to the longer established Editory Artist hotel. We strolled across the garden to this sister hotel and enjoyed a delightful ‘tasting menu’ one evening, lunch is also available. The hotels offer ‘placements’ to students from the neighbouring tourism and catering college, which means that service is absolutely excellent. The staff were so friendly and enthusiastic. There was a real vibrancy to the hotel.
